‘Weapons of Choice’

St Mary's University College, Falls Road, Belfast
Monday 2nd August, 2pm

The Pat Finucane Centre and the Derry Playhouse Actors’ Group present a dramatic, multi-media account of how weapons were ‘stolen’ or ‘disappeared’ from various British Army, UDR and RUC bases throughout the conflict. New and forensically-tested evidence is constantly emerging about how many people met their deaths as a result.

The British government’s response was to cover up the extent of collusion.  Using hitherto secret documents and photographic evidence, these stories of the guns and their victims will mark this year’s fortieth anniversary of the founding of the UDR in an entirely different perspective.
